Our Goals

Most of our club's goals are very high goals, but not bad goals at all. One of our major goals is to establlish a link with the government, and help teach everybody about how pollution, deforestation, and other things can not only kill trees, plants, and animals, but also human beings. Our second most important goal is to be able to visit schools and teach all the kids that will later become grown-ups about nature. We also have many other goals.

The History Behind The Red Fox Nature Club

This club was founded by Sonya Plenefisch of Sylvania, Ohio. She first started this club in 2004 after she saw a red fox in Acadia National Park in Maine. She liked the red fox and decided to preserve it and its habitat by forming a nature club. When she went back to school, Sonya told her friends and they agreed to form a club with the red fox as its mascot. The next year, Sierra Pugh was in the Club. Later that year, Sierra left Ohio and went to Colorado. The nature club continued for another years. The third year, Sonya had an idea. Start expanding the club to new locations! Soon after Sonya got the idea, she asked her High Technician, Patrick (that is I!), to create a website for TRFNC (The Red Fox Nature Club), and ask Sierra to start one in her area. As President Sonya and High Technician Patrick battled to find a place they could put their website, Sonya started thinking of things that TRFNC could make to sell for money and shows they could perform to inform the public of the problems of pollution, littering, global warming, and climate change.
